MLSC is located on an idyllic section of Port Phillip Bay with expansive views through Arthurs’ Seat to the South and the You Yangs to the North. Members and friends have enjoyed the facility for sporting and social events for nearly one hundred years.
Our state of the art function spaces allow us to host a multitude of occasions from Christmas parties and gala events to weddings, engagements, life celebrations and birthdays. Two rooms are on offer and they can be opened to allow up to 120 guests seated or 150 guests for a cocktail function.
With an elevated aspect above the foreshore we offer a secure and private venue available for any event or occasion.Download Brochures

Conferences and Meetings
Casual room hire comes complete with lectern, tables, chairs, whiteboard and flat screen TV’s to connect your own laptop it also offers Mipro wireless audio. Hire the room/s from just an hour to a whole day.
The long room can accommodate up to 24 people in a classroom or boardroom setting with more in a theatre setting.
The Hazel Pierce Hall can accommodate up to 70 guest’s theatre style and has the added advantage of a projector and drop-down screen.
Your choice of set up is available and catering can be arranged. The Long Room may not be available on weekends as full venue bookings take precedence.Download Brochures

Celebration of Life
Offering a secure and private venue for families and friends to gather on those heartfelt occasions to celebrate the life of a loved one.
We can quietly cater for both morning and afternoon occasions accommodating 20 to 150 guests.
To simplify the process, we offer an all-inclusive in-house package, priced from $30 pp which includes a light lunch, white linen dressed side table, Chamellia Specialty Tea, Moccona Coffee, fresh juice and mineral water.
