Masters competition is for anyone over 30 years of age. This has been a growing category for the Mordialloc members, with most of the competitors being parents of younger members wanting to get involved. It is also a great reason to get your Bronze Medallion to patrol the beach at Mordialloc, as it is a requirement to compete.

Here is a photo of the ladies surf boat crew who took home the gold this year. These ladies have been rowing for 2 seasons now and after coming last the previous year, they came home strong to win by half a boat length….it just goes to show you are never too old!!!

Training can be as serious or lax as you choose, with a lot of the Dad’s starting 2 weeks out on a Thursday night! No wonder there are so many hammy’s injured that day!!
